How is Blab different from other apps?

Blab puts voice and your closest circle first. Hear the laugh, the pause, and the feeling behind a message, then reply in your own time. Share voice notes, group conversations, and everyday stories.

Is Blab free to use?

Yes. Blab is free to download and use.

Is Blab end-to-end encrypted?

No. Blab currently does not offer end-to-end encryption.

What happens to my messages after they're sent?

Messages have an expiry setting. The current app offers 5 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours; older chats may retain a longer setting. Expiry controls when messages disappear from the conversation. It does not guarantee immediate deletion of every stored copy.

If I delete the app, are my chats gone for good?

Uninstalling Blab does not delete your account or automatically erase server-held data. To request account deletion, use the account-deletion option in the app's settings.

Do you sell or share my private chats with advertisers?

We don't sell or share your private chats with advertisers.

How do I report something inappropriate?

Use the report option on a message, story, or profile in the app.

What happens after I report someone?

Your report is submitted to the Blab team for review. You can also block the person in the app.

Is there an age requirement?

Blab is intended for people aged 13 and older.

Can I use Blab without a phone number?

A phone number is currently required to create an account.
